The Nature2 POP display I designed the graphics for won an American Graphic Design USA 2011 Award of excellence. It was one of 8,000 entries this year and only a select 15% were chosen. It will be published in a graphic design awards book and a on-line gallery.

Obsessed with design books, but hates shoe shopping. Yes, not the average woman, but proud of that fact. Design books vary from hand made designs to the most intricate type treatment and color palette studies. This is Monica's idea of fun = reading a good book while hanging out by the beach.

Last night I went to the Grateful Dads concert, which helped raise money for the Chelsea's Light Foundation. What a fun amazing night with family and friends!

A recent 14 day trip to Ireland, France and Italy provided lots of inspiration. One of the fun small projects that I took on while there included an observation of door locks and knobs. Sounds silly to some, but it was fascinating to me how many different designs and styles exist in places as diverse as amazing historic castles to awesome little pubs in unexpected places.
